Approx. 152 x 170 cm
New travel rug made from our recycled wool fibre. The recycle fibre is made up of merino wool waste, unused wool fibre, off-cuts and older blankets shredded, spun and blended together to make our recycled yarn. This yarn is then dyed and woven into a tartan design.
Colours Navy, Blue
The colour specks in the yarn are from the recycled parts. Variations in colour and slub yarn are a natural part of this recycled product. Due to the nature of recycled wool yarn the product size can vary slightly by run.
After the throw is woven we brush the fibre to give it an even softer feel to the skin. This throw is Cold Hand Washable.
All our products are proudly made in Tasmania.
Dry clean with care or cool hand wash. Line dry out of direct sunlight.

Fantastic product
Bought this as a Christmas present. Recipient loved it! Said it felt so nice, they were reluctant to use as a picnic blanket! Loved it's sustainablility.

Q: Are the recycled rugs 100% wool or a blend?

A: The recycled rugs are a blend of 85% recycled merino wool and 15% polyester used to be able to spin the shorter recycled wool fibre.

Q: Where is this rug actually made? waverleymills.com/products/recycled-travel-rug-the-blues
I have seen other sites that offer a foreign made product but include lines in their website like "a truly Australian made experience", the sneaky bastards.
