John Wren is an artist with studios in both Brisbane and Tasmania. His work, primarily large-scale oil and acrylic on canvas, can be found in both private and commercial collections across Australia and Europe.
Waverley Mills' latest collection, Weave, is a lush, opulent selection of four alpaca throws, featuring bold colours and grand checks converging on a natural background. It seemed a fitting partnership to photograph the bold, textured colours of our latest collection, Weave, at John and Catherine Wren’s stunning home, Belvoir, in West Launceston.
At Belvoir, Catherine and John wanted to push the boundaries to the edge of comfort. It has become a “vortex where days meld into weeks. The natural light spilling into each room is compounded by the playful use of colour and texture, adding energy to their assigned theme.”
The BernabeiFreeman-designed Weave collection melds colour and texture, adding depth and comfort to any interior.
