Waverley Mills “Australia’s Best-Looking Sleeper” Competition - Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees of Waverley Mills, their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
2. How to Enter

To enter, participants must send a photo of themselves in a sleep-related pose via Instagram or Facebook direct message to @waverleymills.

Entry period opens 12:01am AEST on 1 August 2025 and closes 11:59pm AEST on 11 August 2025.

Entrants must follow @waverleymills on Instagram or Facebook.

Only one entry per person is permitted.
3. Finalist Selection & Voting

Finalists will be selected by the Waverley Mills team based on creativity, charm and relevance to the theme.

Finalist photos will be posted to Waverley Mills’ Instagram Stories from 11 to 17 August 2025 for public voting.

Public voting is open to any Instagram user. Voters may vote once per finalist post.
4. Prize Details
The winner will receive: - Return economy flights to Launceston, Tasmania (from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city) - Two-night accommodation in boutique Tasmanian lodging (chosen by Waverley Mills) - A professional photoshoot (approx. 4 hours) to be held in early September 2025 on a mutually agreed date - A Waverley Mills gift pack (including bed blanket and other woollen goods) valued at over $600
Total prize value: Approx. AUD $4,000

The winner must be available for travel and shoot in September 2025; no cash alternative is available.

Flights and accommodation will be booked by Waverley Mills; transfers and incidental expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
5. Winner Notification

Winner will be contacted via direct message and announced on Waverley Mills’ social media channels on 19 August 2025.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not confirm acceptance within 72 hours, Waverley Mills reserves the right to select a new winner.
6. Use of Content

By entering, participants grant Waverley Mills the right to use their submitted image and first name in marketing and promotional materials (including but not limited to website, social media, print and digital advertising).

The winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activity as requested by Waverley Mills.

Waverley Mills x Captain’s Rest Breezy Throw Competition – Terms & Conditions (Ended)
Eligibility:
Open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
How to Enter:
To enter, customers must purchase any Waverley Mills Breezy throw between 1 June 2025 and 30 June 2025. Each qualifying purchase constitutes one entry.
Competition Period:
Starts Sunday 01 June 2025 and ends Monday 30 June 2025 at 11:59 PM AEST.
Prize Details:

One winner will receive a two-night stay for two adults at Captain’s Rest, Tasmania.

Prize must be redeemed within 12 months of the winner announcement.

Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

Travel costs to and from Captain’s Rest are not included.

Buy 1 or More Throws Get 1 Free Mother's Day Scarf Promotion Terms and Conditions (Ended)
The promotion is only available from the 5th of April 2025 until the 5th of May 2025, or until sold out.
For the duration of the promotional offer period, 1 free scarf will be offered on transactions that meet all of the following conditions:
- the transaction includes at least one throw or more in a single transaction; and
- the order is placed within the time period specified
The free Mother's Day Scarf is valued at $120, and a random colour will be supplied with each qualifying order until stocks last. 1 scarf per qualifying order. Scarf will be added to cart when order qualifies. Note: If the product does not add to cart at checkout, the promotional scarf is sold out.
The promotional offer:
- cannot be used in conjunction with other offers;
- applies to the promotional scarf style only; and
- may be withdrawn or extended at any time during the promotional period at the sole discretion of Waverley Mills
If the customer returns any part of the order within the buy 1 get 1 free offer for a refund, they must also return the free item where the return invalidates the offer terms.

VanMania x Waverley Mills Competition – Terms and Conditions (Ended)
1. Eligibility
This competition is open to Australian residents only. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2. Entry Requirements
To enter the competition, participants must:
- Sign up to the Waverley Mills email database via the entry form provided.
- Follow both @waverleymills and @vanmania_experience on Instagram.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
3. Competition Period
Entries open at 1 April 2025 and close at 30 April 2025 Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4. Prize Details
The winner will receive a 7-day VanMania road trip adventure around Tasmania, valued at over $3,000, including:
Boutique campervan hire from VanMania for 7 days (dates subject to availability and seasonal conditions)
- A Waverley Mills Highland Blanket
- A Waverley Mills Breezy Throw
- A behind-the-scenes tour of the Waverley Mills weaving mill in Launceston, Tasmania
The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Travel to and from Tasmania and any associated costs are not included in the prize.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be drawn at random on 9 May 2025 and notified by email within 3 business days. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Waverley Mills reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
6. Redemption Conditions
The VanMania van hire component must be redeemed within 12 months of winner notification. Blackout dates may apply. The Waverley Mills Mill tour must be booked in advance and is subject to staff availability.
7. Promotional Use of Entries
By entering, participants agree to allow Waverley Mills and VanMania to use their name and/or entry for promotional purposes in future marketing activities, including digital, social media, and email communications.
