Emma Hawkins is a busy woman. As the co-founder of Australian-designed kids clothing brand Homegrown Kids and a mum of three adorable little ones, she’s got her hands full this holiday season!

How will you be making your Christmas special this year?
Arabella (5) and Primrose (3) are at such a special age with Christmas. I just want to make sure we soak up these years of their imagination and excitement and make it really special for them. So, it will be all the lead-up things around Santa and then, of course, Christmas morning.
What makes the perfect Christmas gift?
I love practical things that I’ll use and maybe something I tend not to buy for myself very often. It sounds silly, but I love scents in the home so much — I am always happy with candles or incense. However, if my husband is reading this, he knows I never say no to special jewellery hehe.
What's your favourite thing about the holiday season?
Family and friends. Lazy days at home by the pool and all the wonderful food.
What's your favourite Waverley Mills product?
The picnic rug for me, we use it all the time! I have a feeling it will be "that" rug, the one we always have and is always in our photos. Our favourite thing to do as a family is paddock BBQs, so we are always using our picnic rug.
Who will you be gifting Waverley Mills to this year?
My mum is going to get a throw. She adores a good throw.
